Thanks to the support of the French Ambassador in Thailand, Mr. Mathou, and the Governor of Bangkok, Chadchart Sittipunt, OFA got the chance to visit the Lat Phrao canal last week.
During the visit, the Governor presented the ongoing efforts to clear the canal of various waste materials that impede the smooth water flow over its 22-kilometer stretch. Oceans For All was proposed by both the French ambassador and the Governor to support the cleanup efforts by utilizing its expertise and boats to collect waste and help restore the Lat Phrao canal.
This waterway plays a vital role in maintaining a stable flow of water in the Thai capital.
We would also like to extend our appreciation to TerraCycle for taking the time to explain their fantastic work on the Klongs.
