10 Juvenile Bamboo Sharks Released at Pullman Panwa Beach Resort

This past Sunday, our partners at Pullman Phuket Panwa Beach resort hosted a tremendously successful ReSharking event.

The event showcased the hospitality brand’s sustainability efforts in Phuket, and highlighted the Panwa resort’s Shark Nursery program, run in partnership with Oceans For All Foundation.

Following a brief workshop led by Khun Ying, the foundation’s Shark Nursery Officer, attendees enjoyed a sustainably sourced, three-course lunch at Tamarind Restaurant. With appetites satisfied, the group joined the foundation team on the beach, where 10 adopted juvenile bamboo sharks were released into the ocean.

We are deeply grateful for the ongoing support of Pullman Phuket Panwa Beach Resort and GM Vincent Delsol for our projects in Phuket, and we look forward to the next ReSharking event.
