Mermaid Garden Project Launched

Our Sea Grass Nursery is kicking off at Paradise Koh Yao พาราไดซ์ เกาะยาว in collaboration with the Phuket Marine Biological Centre & https://www.facebook.com/kywittaya the Kho Yao Primary School, led by Dr.Thitipron Pekamon and teacher Thanitta Rodchum. A fantastic project currently followed by OFA’s real mermaid K.Nest’s aka Ms. Spanna Wongarin to help nature by collecting the sea grass seeds and grow them in an Aquaria for a month until they have roots and then replant them having a size advantage to grow better, faster and expand the seagrass meadow natural areas in Phang Nga Bay to support the marine life conservation. Guests of the resort together with students of the local school will participate in this project by helping onsite to share awareness behind the necessity in preserving these seagrass meadows who are essential to reduce Ocean Acidification.
