Seagrass seeds planted at Pullman Phuket Panwa Beach Resort

Today, at the Oceans for All foundation, we potted our seagrass seeds after they had spent 30 days at the Pullman Phuket Panwa Beach Resort nursery. We buried our young plants up to the neck (Where the first or second leaf starts on the stem) in the mud.

Deep burial is a must to keep the young seagrasses from being washed away by the water.

We also took the opportunity to check on our last seagrass planting at @pullmanphuketpanwa. They’re doing well! we have now growing evidence that successful seagrass restoration will result in such ecological improvements
